Break Pointe Youth Group

Breakpointe is our teen ministry at the Pointe! On Sunday mornings, we encourage teens to worship alongside their parents and family. After brief announcements, teens are dismissed to attend Breakpointe, where fun and faith collide!

On Wednesday nights, our teens have their own dynamic group to experience. This group is led by Ken Olson, our new Youth Director! 4:00 pm at the church.

Below please find a few things to be aware of for a Sunday experience, and our upcoming events you won’t want to miss out on.

🎉 Happy Birthday, Jaden & Cody Carroll! 🎉

Your BreakPointe family is so thankful for the joy, energy, and heart you both bring to our group. Whether it’s jumping in to participate, encouraging others, or simply showing up with your great attitudes, you make BreakPointe a brighter and more welcoming place.

As you step into this new year of life, may you grow even stronger in your faith, find courage to chase big dreams, and keep being the amazing encouragement you already are to those around you. We can’t wait to see all that God has in store for you in the year ahead!

We love and appreciate you both — Happy Birthday from all of us at BreakPointe Youth! 🎂🎈

💬 Parents of Teens & Young Adults – Let’s Talk

Are you experiencing “Prodigal Child Syndrome”?
Do you have a teen or young adult who has chosen to abandon your wisdom, direction, and correction?

You’re not alone. We’ve all been there. It’s almost a rite of passage for teens and young adults—some take it further than others, but as parents, we all face it at some point.

Be encouraged—the Lord never abandons His children. The Bible says in Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Yes, your child may wander for a season—just like the Israelites wandered in the desert for 40 years—but with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).

So, parents—keep praying. Keep loving. Keep being the living example of God’s love and grace to them. His promises are true, and His timing is perfect.

🚀 Teen Life Lesson from David & Goliath

When David faced Goliath, the giant wasn’t just a man — he was a walking, breathing, armored symbol of fear and impossibility. No soldier in Israel dared to face him.

Sometimes, the challenges in your life feel just like that — fierce, enormous enemies no one seems able to defeat. But here’s the truth: God is bigger than any battle you face.

When you’re talking to yourself about your struggles, or encouraging a friend about theirs, end the conversation with this powerful reminder:

💬 “But God is bigger, stronger, and mightier than this. He loves me and will not allow me to fall if I continue to follow Him.”

The Bible says:

“Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
— Joshua 1:9

Courage & Faithfulness for the Journey

Parenting teens is one of the most challenging and rewarding callings God can give. It takes courage to stand firm in your values when culture pulls in the opposite direction, and it takes faithfulness to keep showing up with love, guidance, and prayer—especially when the road gets rocky.

Remember Joshua 1:9 – “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” You are not walking this journey alone. The same God who entrusted you with your teen will equip you with the wisdom, patience, and strength you need every day.

Your faithfulness—both in how you live and in how you love—plants seeds in your teen’s heart that will grow in God’s timing. Even when you don’t see immediate fruit, trust Galatians 6:9: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

So keep leading with courage, modeling the life you hope your teen will live, and trusting God to work in ways you cannot yet see. The battles you face today may be the very foundation of your teen’s testimony tomorrow.
